The house: Modern apartment with all the conveniences: Radio, TV, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, parking space. Large Windows with a view to the sea. Common garden andswimming pool in the development. Integrated kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom . Seasonal apartment so home exchange can be arranged not to be simultaneous.

The location: O VICEDO (Lugo). Picturesque village, located in the Barquero ria valley, the apartment is in village center (www.concellodovicedo.org)
 
Entertainment: O Vicedo is both a coast zone, with wild forest areas, cliffs and fine sand beaches to open sea. But it is also a hilly inner area with great sceneries and rich natural life.
Some of the close beaches are: Arealonga, Caolín, Xilloi, Tixoso, Areagrande, Abrela.
Trekking routes, biking, horse back riding, fishing.
 
 The Region: O Vicedo is 167Kms (104 mi) away from Santiago de Compostela (www.santiagoturismo.com), capital of Galicia and final stage of the Camino de Santiago. Monumental city, with wide cultural highlights, several important museums and gastronomic tradition. It is also 105 Kms (65 mi) away from Lugo (www.lugoturismo.com) , capital founded by the romans which still keeps its walls. 115 Kms (72 mi) to La Coruña (www.turismocoruna.com), classy cosmopolitan city. 210 Kms (131 mi) to Oviedo (www.oviedo.es), city where the Principe de Asturias awars are granted. Its cathedral and preromanesque churches are worth the visit. Only 14 Kms (8,7 mi) away is Viveiro (www.viveiro.es), one of the mainly populated cities in the coast of Lugo.
Very close, to the east, are the biggest cliffs in Europe: Finisterre and the Estaca de Bares
(the lighthouse and the traffic light). To the east, it is worth the mention the Playa de las Catedrales (The beach of the Cathedrals), in Ribadeo.
If I had to highlight only two aspects of this area, they would be their great natural sceneries and the local gastronomy.
