Cozy house near Green Lake in Seattle
Our cozy, comfortable house is located in a walkable neighborhood of northeast Seattle! We have 3 bedrooms, one of which is currently set up for our baby daughter. We also have an additional room that has a futon and is also used as an office. We have a beautiful open kitchen, an electric piano, and a downstairs "gear room" with lots of outdoor equipment. Our backyard vegetable garden will provide all the produce you need during our long summer days!
We love our home - and we love our location! We are within walking distance of the light rail, buses, parks, playgrounds, Green Lake, grocery stores, and nearly all imaginable services.

About the neighborhood
We are in a residential neighborhood with a nearby mini-downtown centered on a light rail station. We're within walking distance of the train, buses, parks, playgrounds, Green Lake, grocery stores, and nearly all imaginable services. We have great neighbors and love to stroll around our neighborhood!
Seattle is a great place to visit in the summer! Summer brings beautiful (not-too-hot) weather, abundant daylight, and stunning natural wonders to explore. There are 3 national parks and millions of acres of national forest within a short drive. Closer to home, we are within walking distance of Green Lake and a little farther from Lake Washington, both of which are great for a swim!
We live a 5-minute walk from the light rail and a transit hub, with buses and trains that will take you nearly anywhere in Seattle. Come enjoy the Pacific Northwest in the summer!

We are a couple living in Seattle with a beautiful baby daughter. Mike is originally from Idaho and works as a researcher in carbon neutrality. Jonas is from Philadelphia and is a high school teacher working with recent immigrant and refugee students.
We love the outdoors, with Jonas being primarily a land activity person and Mike feeling most comfortable in the water. We enjoy hiking, skiing, climbing, and biking together. Jonas enjoys going on long bike tours while Mike enjoys open-water swims in the lakes surrounding Seattle.
We also love traveling and have lived in different countries; Mike lived in Laos and Germany while Jonas lived on the Tibetan Plateau in rural western China. Mike speaks some Spanish and Lao, while Jonas speaks Spanish, French, Mandarin, and some Amdo Tibetan.
In 2024, we adopted our beautiful baby daughter! Kaia brings us an incredible amount of joy and we are so lucky that she's come into our lives.
