A one-century old summer house, made in stone, just next to the sea (300m). It is located in a charming old-style holiday resort, with all conveniences, not far from the beautiful La Rochelle and historical Rochefort.

We also have a flat to rent in center La Rochelle, for 2 people, with a private car park.

Fouras is located in a very interesting region, with a lot of historical heritage. Not far from our house you can be in less than half an hour to La Rochelle - one of the most beautiful French cities, to Rochefort - which offers an outstanding maritime heritage, and to Saintes - one of the oldest French towns, rich in Gallo-Roman remains. You have also many pretty Roman churches, one of the most important concentration in Europe.
For those who prefer nature, we have a beautiful coastline, wonderful islands (Ré, Oléron, Aix, Madame) and walking or biking in the marsh all around Fouras is an exciting experience among thousands of birds.
Many beaches are also waiting to welcome you to have an invigorating bath in the handsome Atlantic Ocean.
And our area is famous for its sea products. Even though you can't eat oysters, you will appreciate our very fresh and cheap fishes and seafood.
