House in Brisbane, Australia
Our tree lined street is in Brisbane, Queensland, just 10km from the city centre close to public transport if required.
Our home is high set with two bedrooms upstairs and one down. We have a study/ironing room upstairs. Our verandah beside our kitchen is our favourite place, where barbecues for friends and family take place in summer and winter. In summer we enjoy the luxury of our own pool.
We also have a holiday unit at Bribie Island one and half hours from Brisbane, which can be included in the exchange.
Our home has ac in the main living area, and ceiling fans in bedrooms.
We have an automatic Mitsubishi Outlander available for the swap, to be used only approx. 200km from the home base in Brisbane or Bribie island.

By using Brisbane as your base, you can travel to the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast to experience our beautiful white sandy beaches in an hour or so.
Moreton Island is close by where you can feed the dolpins and go sand duning on one of the biggest sand dunes in the world.
Koalas and kangaroos can be seen at Lone Pine in Brisbane, and at Australia Zoo ( the home of Steve irwin).
Our unit at Bribie Island can also be enjoyed overlooking peaceful Pumicestone Passage.

We are a retired couple who enjoy travel.
In 2005 we had a house swap in Germany, we also visited Switzerland, Greece and Turkey on this trip of 2 months. In 2009 we travelled on the Trans-Siberian Railway from China to Moscow. On the way we camped in Mongolia for two weeks, visited Lake Bakail and cruised from Moscow to St Petersburg, mostly staying in backpacker accommodation.
During 2011 we completed two home swaps, one in Torquay England andthe other in Louisburgh Ireland. We also had hospitality offered to us from three French families whom we had met in Brisbane and offered hospitality to. We had a wonderful time with the French families and have made a firm friendship. Our two home swaps were as we had planned and we had a great holiday. We were away from home for 13 weeks.
We have successfully completed a house swap in the North Island of New Zealand during Aug/Sept 2012 for three weeks.
We spent three months touring in Italy during 2013.
So now we are looking for our Canadian holiday during in July, August, September , October 2015. Not necessarily a simultaneous swap as we have a holiday unit at Bribie Island which would be available at some time if we could use your holiday accommodation..
