Would you like to visit Galway, the 2020 European Capital of Culture? Our home is situated in a quiet rural part of South Galway. It is a 20 minute drive from the Burren and is located just 30 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher. Our home was architecturally designed and built in 2015. It is situated on a 1 and a half acre site of landscaped gardens.The house includes 4 bedrooms, open plan living and kitchen areas, 1 bathroom and 50sqm external terrace area. The house is built on an elevated site with beautiful views overlooking the Burren Mountains and Galway Bay. The lights of Galway city which is located approximately 35 minute drive away provide a spectacular viewpoint at night. Our house is situated in the foothills of Slieve Aughty which provides ample walking trails and hiking areas. As we have small children (aged 4 and 3 with a new baby arriving in spring),the house contains lots of toys to keep children entertained. It could also be arranged for visitors to spend time exploring our family farm and experiencing the excitement of the summer season on the farm. Alternatively, our home is quite secluded and ideal for visitors who just want to relax while enjoying pamoramic views of the local countryside. We have enjoyed wonderful exchanges in Malmo and Bruges and we are very excited about continuing our home exchange adventures.
