Welcome to Groningen: A Vibrant Northern city

We are Merel and Raymond and we live together with our 2 daughters (16 and 19 years) and our cat Nala in the beautiful and lively Groningen. We live in a house with 4 floors, so that means waling a lot of stairs! Our house is within walking distance of the city center and has two parking spaces.
Downstairs is the living room with TV and sliding doors to our garden. There is an electric fireplace where you can sit comfortably in the evening. Our kitchen with cooking island and a large table is on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor there is a office, bathroom and a bedroom. The second bedroom with a roof terrace is on the 3rd floor.
We have 2 bedrooms available, both with doubles beds. You can use 3 bicycles with gears.
In the courtyourd there is a jeau de boule and table tennis.

A large supermarket is 400 meters away. There is a city park 2,5 kilometers away where you can walk, cycle or picnic. An outdoor swimming pool is 1 kilomter away. In a few minutes walk you are in the center and at the train station. By train you can reach Amsterdam in just 2 hours.

Groningen, located in the northern part of the Netherlands, is a lively city known for its rich history, dynamic culture, and youthful energy. With a population that boasts a significant number of students, thanks to the University of Groningen and Hanze University of Applied Sciences, the city is filled with a vibrant atmosphere and innovative spirit.
