Salzburg, Austria

We, Stefanie and Albert Ellensohn are living in Salzburg, a nice town (ca 120.000 inhabitans) in Austria. Our flat is close to the pedestrian area and most of the sight seeing places like fortress of Salzburg, mirabell gardens or old baroque town ... can be reached by feet or bike(We have two bikes). Also its only a few minutes to the river salzach or to our two hills "kapuzinerberg" and "mönchsberg", which are situated in the middle of town and ideal for a little walk - maybe in the evening or for picknick.
Around Salzburg there are lakes, mountains and alps for hitch-hiking, climbing, swimming and biking. Also it is not far to various ski-areas. Bus stop and railway-station are near to our flat. In our neighbourhood there are some bakeries, little grocery stores, some typical cafes and some restaurants.Every thursday there is a big rural-market with fresh vegetables, meat, cheese and fruits.
Our flat is situated in a new restaurated "Ceconi-Villa" built in 1897 and has about 95m². We have a big living-room with open kitchen and a sunny terrace with view to the garden, a sleeping room with double-bed 160 x 200 and a bath-room with shower and tube. And there is also a second sleeping- room with a 170 x 200 bed and the grand-piano.  If You need it, you will found a third sleeping - room with a bunk bed 2x 90 x 200. For Children we have a lot of toys and (picture)books  (for every age), a children's high chair....
Our family: Our daughter Sophie (35 years old) is living in Innsbruck and usually she does not spend her holidays with us, but sometimes Sophie visit us with her family when we change our flat . We - Albert and Stefanie - are both psychoanalysts, but retired. We like walking, biking and swimming , but also discovering other landscapes and cities.

Nous habitons près de la zone piétonne de Salzburg (5 minutes à pied) dans un bâtiment de trois étages très calme. L'appartement (95m2) est confortable, il y a trois chambres avec  deux lits (160x200 et 170x200) et un grand piano.
Dans le salle de bains il y a une douche et une baignoire. La grande salle de séjour avec une cuisine intégrée communique avec la terrasse.Le quartier (Andräviertel) est lié au centre et très animé mais notre rue (Auerspergstrasse) est tranquille. Il y a un marché paysan le jeudi, des épiceries et des boulangeries. Il y a aussi les boutiques, un cinéma d’art (« Das Kino »), des cafés et des  restaurants. Notre appartement est près de la cité baroque et du palais de festival (15 minutes à pied). Si vous aimez faire du jogging ou vous promener dans un parc merveilleux, vous pouvez aller au parc Mirabell ou au « Kapuzinerberg » qui se trouve proche de notre appartement (10 minutes à pied).Près de Salzburg il y a des montagnes et des lacs. Là, on peut faire de la randonnée, de l’escalade, du vélo, de la natation, du surf, de la voile et beaucoup d’autres choses.
Notre famille :
Notre fille Sophie (35 ans) habite à Innsbruck où elle a fini ses études d’histoire et des sciences politiques. Nous – Albert et Stéphanie – avons travaille comme psychanalystes, maintenant nous sommes à la retraite.
