House in Altstätten, Switzerland

We live in the beautiful St. Gallen Rhine Valley, near the borders to Austria, Liechtenstein and Germany. Just 20 km away from the Lake Constance, perfect for swimming or boat trips to Germany. Nearby is the beautiful hiking area of Appenzell, Montafon and the Bregenz Forest. The region is very suitable for trips to the mountains (Arosa, Davos, St. Moritz).
The train station is just a 5 min walk away, and there are hourly trains to Zurich (1.5h), Berne (2.5h), Lucerne (2.5h) or Basel (2.5h).

Our house has a big garden with a terrace for barbecue and eating outside in the summer months.

About the neighborhood

Our house is located near the border to Austria and Germany.
Just 30 min away is the beautiful Lake Constance for swimming and boat trips.
Other activities include: hiking in the mountains in Appenzell or Voralbberg, mountainbiking, and swimming in small lakes around our home town.
There is a station near which gives you the possibility for quick travelling to big cities such as Bern, Zurich and Lucerne etc.
