 We are family of five: Marek (1964), Michaela (1971), Hynek (1996), Tobias (2001) and Frantiska (2009). Marek is an associated professor at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and one of the protagonists of the Buchty a loutky puppet theatre company. Michaela is a doctor of the Czech literature and she works as a university teacher and also as a teacher in Johaness Kepler Gymnasium. Hynek is finishing his Ph.D. studies at the Faculty of Arts, University in Leipzig. Tobias is studying paramedics at Faculty of Health in Prague and Frantiska is in a first grade of the high school.
We have had a great experience with Intervac exchange programme and we are looking forward to many more trips abroad! Currenly we trawel in three usualIy, because older kids live in theisr new home with their partners. Our flat in Prague is located right in the city centre, 10 minutes walk from the Prague Castle and many other historical monuments. The neighbourhood is quiet with a lots of greenery just a few hundred meters from one of the biggest parks in Prague - Petřín.
The flat is in an appartment house (block of flats), with a nice view of trees & greenery in the courtyard.
You should have no problem reaching the flat, as it is in a walking distance from the tram, bus and metro stations. It is just about 30 min from the airport by public transport, or 20 min by car/cab.
There is a lot of parking space in the street in front of the house or at a nearby parking lot.
In addition to our flat in Prague, we offer a country house in a village of Nečtiny situated about 100km (70 miles) south-west of Prague.
The region is ideal for all sorts of sports activities including tennis, climbing, biking (5 own bikes provided), trekking, swimming etc. The countryside is beautifull and there are several notable historical buildings in the vicinity, such as a romantic chateau, baroque church, synagogue and much more!
