Nice house in Iceland - Hafnarfjordur just outside the capital, Reykjavik.
Hello there :) We are family of 5 - Steinar 32, Íris 33, Viktor 11, Hafrun 10 and Tindur 4. We have a beautiful 130 sqm apartment with 3 bedrooms in Hafnarfjörður. The apartment has a nice kitchen, bathroom with shower and bathtub. Laundry inside the apartment and there are large closets in the bedrooms.
Four apartments are in a building where each apartment has a private entrance.
Our neighborhood is surrounded by great nature and is built on 7,000 year old lava. Near us is Hvaleyrarvatn which is ideal for hiking and outdoor activities you can also bath there on a good summer days -> http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=hvaleyrarvatn&FORM=HDRSC2
Hafnarfjörður has 3 swimming pools and one of them are just 5-minute walk from our apartment.
Two minutes walk to the next bus stop which goes direct way downtown Reykjavík and it takes about 35 min. By car it takes about 15 minutes.
It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the Blue Lagoon.
We strongly recommend to those who visit Iceland to travel and see the country as much as possible during their stay. Needless to say, the nature is incredibly beautiful as you can see waterfalls, hot springs, glaciers, mountains and so much more.

Our neighborhood is very friendly, short distance to very excellent walking routes. There are two swimming pools in walking distance and both of them very popular. Then there is our outdoor hidden paradise, Hvaleyrarvatn. There the family can enjoy themselves.

We are a family of five and have a little cute dog (Hekla). The dog wont be at home during your stay, family members will take on the role of a petsitters.
Dad (Steinar) works as a Lean management specialist for Elkem AS.
Mamma (Iris) Master's student at the University of Iceland. Studying Psychology of Educational Studies and Pedagogy.
Viktor (11 years old) loves sports and practices handball and football.
Hafrun (10 years old) loves to dance and practices dance she is also learning to play the Piano.
Tindur (4 years) is a lively and merry little boy, and loves all ball games.
We are very relaxed and friendly family who would be incredibly happy to assist the family that will exchange to our country by giving you tips on what to do and see in the area.
