A beautiful house in a beautiful and wooded surroundings in North Iceland
Our house is a beautiful year-round house in a beautiful and wooded surroundings. There are big and good terraces around the house and large lawn below with trampoline and sand box for children. Size of the house is about 101 m₂ . On the ground floor are two good bedrooms with double beds, hall, bathroom/shower and a large and good living room and kitchen. Upstairs are 3 beds . The heating of the house is in the floor and steering/thermo in every room. The terrace has got a hot tub, out door shower, gas barbecue and patio furniture. TV, DVD, radio/CD,dishwasher.

North Iceland, in a beautiful forest called Lundsskógur in the valley Fnjóskadalur ca. 40 km from Akureyri (the capital of Northern Iceland), 50 km from Húsavík town (whale watching), 390 km from Reykjavik. Great location for daytours in northern Iceland.Short in nature such as Lake Mývatn, Ásbyrgi, Dettifoss and Goðafoss waterfalls, whale watching, naturally hot baths and more. Fine trails and ca. 400 m in a good 9-hole golf course.Northern Lights in wintertime.

Introduction to us and our family and interests
My husband and I, Tómas Lárus and Hafdís Ármann, have 3 grown children, two girls and one boy, and 6 grandchildren. I have worked as an assistant principal and sometimes principal in recent years, but have now retired. My wife was a hairdresser but has also retired. Our two daughters live in Norway, one is a specialist doctor and the other is a journalist and accountant. Our son and one grand child live in Akureyri, he is a chef and an electrician. We are very interested in the nature outdoors and traveling. For example, we go skiing a lot in the winter and travel in the summer and spend a lot of time in a holiday home that we own here in the north of Iceland. We haven't change apartment yet, but we are very interested in it. we are honest and comfortable in communication
