A very nice apartment in Reykjavík city center - just five minute walk downtown.
The flat is on the 4th floor, above a literary publication. Very quiet with good neighbours. There is only one bedroom but in the main area is a sleeping sofa against the TV for two persons. It is in a corner so to speak but open so people have to be good friends to stay at the flat, or in a family. In the master bedroom there is a mattress for a single person. Hence, the flat can accommodate in all five persons. There is a huge balcony to the north and west and another smaller one to the south, so one should be able to catch all the sun available. The kitchen is good and open for the chef to talk too the guests while cooking. The bathroom is big with a combined bath and shower. The machine is both a washer and dryer in one.

This was a very good exchange. Everything as expected or better and correctly shown on the Intervac page. We did meet our exchange partners on the day of the exchange which was really good and they were extremely hospital. We can wholeheartedly recommend a exchange in Redon. The house was very nice as was the garden, the Redon area also, very good to experience the many marked footpaths and bicycle paths, The house is also close to the river which has a path along it which is great for a run. All in all very happy about this exchange and perfect interaction with our partners.

Pétur lives in Bræðraborgarstígur only a few min. walk from the center of town with museums, restaurants, cafés, stores & public swimming pools close by. Pétur's children live in Reykjavík and can help out if necessary - they have keys.
