Campbon, France

Eager to discover many foreign countries, we will be delighted to exchange, and to welcome you to our newly renovated house. Our "essential" house as our daughter named it.

We are open to all regions and all countries.

We renovated our house in 2019. It is located 2kms from a small town (Campbon) accessible by foot, bike or car, all shops (bakeries, restaurants, supermarket, local producers' market on Saturday mornings, bar, .. .) and leisure activities (lake, media library, hiking trails, etc.) It is 10 km from a neighboring town (Savenay) which has a very well served train station and also many leisure activities (media library, cinema [8 rooms], indoor swimming pool, Tépacap [tree climbing park], lake, children's park, golf, tennis, motocross ground, shopping center, ...) accessible by bike or by car.

We are 45kms from Nantes airport. There is a direct train line between Nantes and Savenay.

The interior:

On the ground floor you will find an entrance/kitchen, a dining room, a laundry room with washer/dryer (where our dogs sleep), a living room, a toilet and the master bedroom.. A fan of zero (or finally less) waste, our kitchen will offer you many foods in jars. Mikaël being a beekeeper you can taste purely local honey. The jams are homemade and our pastry robot will be loyal to you if you wish to prepare your pasta for pies/pizzas or breads and buns.

We wanted a convivial and family kitchen which I hope will allow you to share wonderful meals.

Our living room, added in 2023, is wide open onto the garden and vegetable patch. No television, but a video projection system to watch your Disney+ movies or play console games (PS4 or switch).

Finally, our bedroom offers a double bed (160x200), a large dressing room and a view of the garden.

The floor serves the girls' bedrooms and a shower room with toilet.

Inès, will offer you her room with a bed that can go from single (80x200) to double (160x200). There is also enough room to add an inflatable double mattress to the floor. Your children will be able to enjoy the many books and the reading corner, their disguises, their imaginative or construction games. Lily's room welcomes you with its double bed (140x200), his library (novel, comics, manga), drawing material, desk and dressing room.

The bathroom, finally, has a shower, a sink and a toilet.

The exterior:

We wanted to make the garden a useful and welcoming space that can meet the different needs and desires of everyone. In our 2500m2 you will find a terrace and its storage box with all the outdoor games available. Garden furniture and outdoor lighting for the evenings. Barbeque available. A little further on is the corner of the hammocks and the swing in the middle of the birches (from spring to summer). Heading towards the bottom of the garden you'll find a dry toilet, as well as access to the garage to catch outdoor games (molkky, rackets, lounge, beach/pool games, ...) bikes (2 adults, 1 children's bike) scooter, rollerblades for children or adults, skateboard.

In the shade of the giant cherry tree, the oak and the pine, the children's leisure area with a trampoline and swings (from spring to summer).

On the left is our orchard (still young which will one day produce peaches, apricots, figs and pears), the vegetable garden and the apiary. We will ask you not to enter the apiary.

The vegetable garden when to him, I hope will offer you many harvests in fruits and vegetables (permaculture).

To continue on the animals, we also have one dog:

Pennañ, (border collie) 4 year old will hopefully be able to follow us on our travels, otherwise she will have to be kept because she requires more activities and attention.

One cat:

Lafayette (the black), more adventurous, spends a lot of time outdoors.

He's very nice, sweet and sociable. He usually stay outside while we are away (no matter the weather) and sleep outside at night. He only need kibble and water.

Geographical location:

Directly around us you can enjoy many hiking trails, the canal from Nantes to Brest as well.

Thanks to the central position of our city you can enjoy many cultural outings.

Nantes, city of the Dukes of Brittany 30 mins by car, with his castle, his museums as well as the machines of the island (the seabed carousel, the elephant and the engine room) as well as the trip to Nantes. Depending on the period, do not hesitate to find out about the surrounding festivals.

Saint Nazaire 30 minutes by car, his submarine base, his coast, his festival (Les Escales) as well as the whole wild coast (Le Croisic, Guérande, Saint Marc sur Mer) will offer you great opportunities to swim in summer and to walk in the rocks all year round. Let yourself be carried away by the spray, the sea air.

Many small surrounding towns will also offer you beautiful walks in the forests (Blain and the gâvre forest), on the banks of the Loire (Couëron, Le pellerin, Trentmoult, ...)

The banks of the Loire, not far from us, will assure you the discovery of certain Loire castles, vineyards and beautiful walks.

You also have quick access to Brittany, whether it is Morbihan or Ille et Vilaine with many sporting or cultural outings.
