Come in Normandy, enjoy beaches, Mont Saint Michel, DDay area and beautiful coastline.

We live in a little village in a town ( 20 000 h ) in front of a lovely pond. Our home is 2 centuries old and entirely restored with all conveniences. There is a patio and a private garden ( a gardener takes care of it )
Two large rooms on the ground floor, upstairs the master bedroom with an electric-driven queen size bed and another room with two beds.
You will find books everywhere, music cd from all over the world, satellite tv with international channels and Netflix.
High speed internet with Wifi in all the house and the patio.
Sorry, our home is not now suitable for very young children and no more than 3 adults or a couple with 2 children.

The most western "département" in Normandy, "la Manche" is an area of great variety and surprising landscapes. The protected coastline over 300kms in length offers alternatively capes, havens, harbours and long sandy beaches, and of course the mecca of international tourism : the Mont Saint-Michel, very easy to reach from home by motorway. It's also the land of D.Day beaches, castles, gothic cathedrals, botanic gardens, varied museums and great hiking. All these landscapes are easy to reach from home : beach ( safe swimming ) 25kms, Mt St Michel 65kms, DDay area 45kms.......

We are Gilles and Elisabeth, in our sixties with two grown up sons who live in Paris and New York. Gilles is retired as a teacher in a high school, Elisabeth as a social manager for the regional council.
We have a cat named Kiitos, he has his own catdoors and only needs some biscuits in his automatic feeder. He can stay alone a few days. A gardener takes care of the garden.
We are looking for an exchange in US East, our son and his wife are living in NY on Long Island and we would like to be able to visit them.
We would like also going to Florence and to Iceland.
We done a lot of swaps, always with a great pleasure, we are easy going and adaptable people.

Our car ( Toyota hybrid 2018 ) could be included in the exchange.
Paris airport to home is an easy 3 hours trip by motorway.
