House in Brugge, Belgium
Our house;
Our house has three floors and a cellar:
in the cellar you find the fuses for electricity, gas and water and our tools.
ground floor: the living, a fully equiped kitchen , a room with a toilet, the washing- and dryingmachine and the dishwasher.
in the middle between the two floors, there is the bathroom with a bath, a shower, a toilet and two wash-bowls.
first floor: the parents bedroom and the atelier.
second floor: two bedrooms, in one a double bed and in the other 2 single beds, a sleeping couch and room for a spare bed, which is available.
The garden and the garage;
Our garden is about 400 m2.
The garage is at the end of the garden. There are 2 bikes available, they are in the garage.
Who are we?
Kees is a retired teacher of mathematics in a Steinerschool, he is 77 years old.
Anna is art-therapist and 74 years old.
We have 3 grownup children, 2 girls, Marieke and Olga (46 and 39 years old) and a boy, Diederik who is 42 years old. They often join us in an exchange in the winter.
Information about the city:
Our house is just outside the old city of Bruges (about 400m) in the suburb called Sint-Kruis.
With a bike you are in 10 minutes in the centre (the Marketplace: at 2,5 km from our house) of Bruges. If you walk it takes 20 – 30 minutes to get in the centre. At 200 m from our house is a busstop, 3 different busses drive to the citycentre.

Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite extrêmement bien dans cette superbe maison si bien située pour découvrir Bruges, et très bien décrite sur le site. Des échanges très amicaux qui vont rester. A pied en 10mn en ville et aussi grâce aux vélos à disposition, nous avons pu visiter autour avec plaisir malgré le temps de novembre. Un gâteau nous attendait à la maison...

FR2010444We highly recommend an exchange with Anna and Kees. The location of their home was perfect to explore Brugges by foot or local buses. They have a comfortable, well equipped home with parking and a beautiful garden. Communications with Kees was easy and informative and lots of information on what to do in the area was left for us.
We returned to a very clean house. Thanks for a lovely exchange. We look forward to staying in touch and maybe exchanging again in the near future.
