our home is in Oakville, one of Canada's most affluent towns situated near lake Ontario and a 30 minute drive or train to Toronto, Canada largest city.
We live in an elegantly furnished three story townhouse in a small development backing on to walking trails, we are close to shopping, golf course and a major highway to Toronto, Niagara Falls and New York state.

Francine and Andy are very nice people we met at the beginning of our exchange. Their house is in a quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours in Oakville, a town on Lake Ontario south of Toronto. A good base for visiting metropolitan Toronto and Niagara Falls. From there, we also took a 5-day trip to Montreal and Ottawa and Algonquin park, among others. A very active holiday. There were also provincial parks in the immediate surroundings, where we took beautiful walks. The house was certainly as described on the website, very stylish, clean and very comfortable. We thank Francine and Andy for the nice welcome and for hosting us and our friends.
