Oughterard is a small village with plenty of pubs and a few restaurants . Two supermarkets and some small shops . Very pretty village and only a few minutes by car or max 8- 10minutes to walk from house . The house is on the lake with its own private pier. Beautiful area to walk/hike or cycle ( rent bikes in village ) or go fishing or take a cruise of the lake and go to the famous Ashford castle . Explore Connemara or the west of Ireland .

About Our Family
I work in Adult Edication and my husband is retired . We have four adult children who may not join us as they may have study or work commitments . My eldest girl is 24 and works as a Data analyist , my next adult daughter is a nurse and my two boys are in university . My husband and I like to travel and be near the sea . Somewhere near a town .
Lifestyle
We like to walk , swim , read and visit interesting towns . We prefer to be near the sea somewhere warm to swim.
