House in POUYASTRUC, France

Our house used to be the village bakery, hence the gorgeous oven wall in the kitchen. It dates back to 1910.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one downstairs and one upstairs) , a large kitchen and a living- room downstairs, a playroom (with games) and a study room upstairs where you can enjoy loads of books in French and in English.
In the garden, you'll see a fish pond, with goldfish and Koi carps that don't need much looking after and a vegetable garden with loads of tomatoes, courgettes, green and red peppers and eggplants.
You'll also find a table tennis and an above ground swimming-pool for children to have fun during hot summer afternoons.

Our village is ideally located in the countryside, in a peaceful environment, with lovely neighbours always very keen to help.
If you like hiking, climbing and water sports, you'll enjoy the Pyrénées mountain range with their stunning views . The Cirque de Gavarnie has been listed as part of the World heritage together with the Mont Perdu.

If you prefer listening to music, particularly jazz music, then you can book tickets for the well-known Jazz in Marciac festival. You would never guess that this quaint medieval village can attract world famous musicians, among them Barbara Hendricks, Winton Marsalis, Diana Krall, Sonny Rollins, Ahmad Jamal and so many others...
