Grande maison d'architecte dans le pays d'Emma Bovary de Gustave Flaubert
Architect house from the 75s renovated in the main part in a beautiful bucolic and protected environment in the country of Emma Bovary taken from the book by Gustave Flaubert. It is backed by a small wood with a beautiful view of the Normandy countryside with a small river . We have many hiking trails all around the house.
The house is equiped with an outdoor Finnish wood sauna, a cabin for children and a large trampoline.
The house is located 30 minutes from Rouen, an hour from the sea and next to the pretty village of Ry, surrounded by hiking trails.
We have 3 bikes ( one electric) and we can exchange our car Dacia jogger 7 places)
You can find some shops in our little village (bakery, butcher, pharmacy ...)
You can go easily in Rouen by car.
Normandy is a very beautiful tourist region in France. The Normandy coasts are very beautiful and it's a little the birthplace of Impressionism. Many artists over the years have inhabited the region. There are also some beautiful forests and many hiking trails.
You can also go to Paris by car (130 km).
The airport of paris beauvais is 67 km from home .
We often trade with the Nordic countries and we exchanged two years ago with a family from Norge ( exchanges 5 times with Iceland , 3 times in Denmark , 6 times in Sweden , 3 times also with Finland ).
We are interested for an exchange for 2 or 3 weeks in July ,August 2025, a place where we can do hiking and we are also open to others propositions , places where we can cycle.

Dit was één van de top ruilvakanties die we in de laatste 30 jaren hebben gehad. Een prachtig huis en een uniek rustige en mooie omgeving. Het huis en de omgeving waren zeer accuraat weergegeven op de Intervac pagina.
L'appartement de Marc et Sigrid était très bien placé dans la ville d'Amsterdam. C'était très sympa de voir le canal de la fenêtre , un beau dépaysement. Nous n'avons pas utilisé notre voiture pendant la semaine , la proximité de la gare est une vraie chance et nous avons pu visiter Haarlem facilement. La communication avec Marc et Sigrid était excellente, ce sont des personnes très sympathiques .
C'était un bel échange de maisons. nous avons adoré revenir en Islande et la faire découvrir à nos enfants et petits enfants dans ces conditions. La maison est très agréable, bien placée pour faire des expéditions dans la région du Sud. Nous avons apprécié le SPA extérieur en rentrant de nos balades. Stefan nous a donné de bons conseils et nous avons été toujours en lien pendant l'échange. Nous avons eu la chance de voir l'éruption volcanique de l'été dernier .. Un échange à recommander +++
The people were very friendly and helpful and we had a considerable good relationship before and during their transition. They were good for us when there was a problem and helped us solve it. The home was properly described and met expectations in every way. The environment was beautiful and it was properly described.

Jacky (70 years) ,after be photographer for over 20 years is retired and me Isabelle (65 years ) I am retired professor since September 2019 and I took care of students with disabilities from kindergarten through high school. Our eldest Thibault ( 40 years ) is a professional jazz musician and plays bass. He has a little daughter Lilasoa who is 12 years and 2 twins who are 11 years ( Sam and Haja ) .Camille our daughter ( 37 years) is responsible for communication at the Baroque Music Center in Versailles .Her boyfriend Pierre is a professional musician in the field of classical and he is a percussionist in the Pays de la Loire Orchestrer . They have 2 boys Ferdinand who is 6 years and Auguste 3 years. They live in Nantes .Antonin our last son (29 years) is sound designer in a studio at Angoulême .
