Skibby, Denmark

We are looking for home exchange with a family in Barcelona, Paris Sevilla Lisbon in Easter holiday.
We have a very nice holiday home 90 square meters in wonderful Vellerup Sommerby Skibby ,close to the beach. Only 45 min to Copenhagen by car
The house is placed in Hornsherred on Zealand 45min from Copenhagen airport. It is a wonderful place for long walks or biking we have a fantastic nature.
The house has a big living room with open kitchen, with access to a sunny terrace. 2 bedrooms , one with a bed 180 cm, the other room with a pull-out-bed 160 cm. We can arrange an extra bed in the office. We also have a cot for baby. You can walk to the beach in 10-15 min or go by car 5 min.
Outside we have a big garden with swings and slide and sand box for children. We have 4 grandchildren ( girls) so we have a lot of toy for girls.
The holiday house is 5 km from Kirke Hyllinge where there is different shop’s. 25 km from Holbæk witch is a very nice city with lots of shops and an interesting city with a good fish restaurant at the dock. There is many things to see and do in Hornsherred.

We also have a terraced house in Herlev on 100 square meter, sleeps capacity for 4 people only 10 km from Copenhagen to exchanges , with a nice little garden, from our terraced homes we have very easy access to public transport to Copenhagen, just outside the door we have a little playground. You could stay some days in Herlev to discover Copenhagen and after that relax in our holiday home in Hornsherred if you like.

Denmark is a small country with approx. 5.5 million inhabitants, of whom approx. 1 million live in the Copenhagen area. There is a lot to see and do in Hornsherred, many small and big city’s to visit or you can visit Orø, an island very close to our house.
There are many tourist attractions in Copenhagen, such as castles, parks, boats arrangemen , Zoo, Tivoli amusement park, a street with many interesting shops, etc. If you want to travel a little longer, there is 150 km. to Fyn, which is one of Denmark's many islands, where HC Andersen (the famous author) house situated in the pleasant town of Odense. Or you can go to Helsingør to see  Kronborg Castle  which is also very famous. You can also take a trip to Sweden over the Øresund Bridge, Malmø and visit a nice town.
