We would like to exchange houses for one week either around Christmas/New Year, during Easter or during summer 2026. In exchange we can offer a stay either in our semi-detached house in Linköping, or in our summer house in Brantevik. |

130 sqm semi detached house in central Linköping
Our semi-detached house is situated in Vimanshäll, a calm area close to the city centre of Linköping. It is a three-storey house, with a fully-equipped kitchen (with dishwasher) and a dining area, a bathroom with a shower, toilet, washing machine and dry tumbler and a large living room (including another dining area and a functioning open fire place) on the ground floor. On first floor we have today three bedrooms, a bathroom including a bathtub & a toilet, and a walk-in closet. On the second floor we have another bedroom and some storage area. We also have the possibility to use a larger shared laundry room. Just outside the small garden there is a playground.

In the neighborhood there are several nice walks by the river Stångån or the brook Tinnerbäcken. There are also a few nice forests nearby. You reach the city centre by an 8-min-busride, a 30 min walk or feel free to use our bikes (it is a 10 min ride). In Linköping there is also an Old Town (Gamla Linköping), where they keep several houses from a hundred years or more ago, and you have the possibility to visit a few ancient shops, see traditional craft etc.
Linköping is located in the region of Östergötland, where there are several nice lakes, the rather big zoo and amusement park Kolmården, the medieval town Vadstena and Norrköping, a city with a lot of museums including a visualization center (with exhibitions and a 3D cinema dome). Within less than two hours drive, in Vimmerby, Småland, lies Astrid Lindgren's värld, an amusement park where you can meet all the characters of Astrid Lindgren's books. Stockholm is also within two hours drive (or 1,5 hours by train), and in 1,5 hours drive lies the archipelago of Sankt Anna and Gryt.
